During the 90′s one city was completely united by its basketball teams. In Chicago, there are a lot of divisions. The North Side vs. The South Side, downtown vs. the neighborhoods, racial tensions, and the rest. During the 90′s though, that all seemed to disappear every time the NBA season started well in to the summer. It was all because of The Chicago Bulls of that era.
In my opinion The Chicago Bulls were the greatest NBA team of all time, Jordan and Pippen was a match made in heave. Micheal Jordan, hands down is the greatest basketball player who ever lived, he made the game into a beautiful symphony that you couldn’t turn away from, he made basketball in to a global sport, you can’t keep yourself from watching him. He sold out arenas from home games to road games with his acrobatic dunks, his mind-numbing game-winners, and let’s not forget that waging tongue of his. Scottie Pippen, the greatest defender to ever play the game in my opinion, he redefined his position and the game of basketball by changing what people expected from a forward.
