During one of the undercard in UFC 114 fights, Mike Russow hit Todd Duffee with a strong punch that knocked Todd Duffee out. Although Todd Duffee landed several punches early int the game, Mike Russow who was taller was the one who took the match that lasted for two and a half rounds.
Todd Duffee seemed to be quicker in landing punches in the earlier rounds. Duffee landed a pair of uppercuts that dropped Mike Russow in the first round. The fighter showed no interest in kicking, grappling, or approaching the cage or even constantly moving the action back into the center and most of his attacks were just punches. As the bout lasted round by round, Todd Duffee also was getting weaker and weaker.
During the third round, Mike Russow threw a solid right hand punch that knocked Todd Duffee out in an instant. After Todd Duffee fell backward, Mike Russow added another spectacular punch that landed into Todd Duffee directly. The match ended at 2:35 during the third round. It was Tod Duffee’s first loss after his six consecutive wins during the start of his career, which includes a seven-second knockout, the fastest time ever recorded in UFC history.
