Red Riding Hood is an upcoming American dark fantasy film directed by Catherine Hardwicke, produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson, the writer of Orphan. Red Riding Hood starring, Billy Burke as Cesaire, Shiloh Fernandez as Peter, and Amanda Seyfried as Valerie – a beautiful young woman torn between two men. The film also draws inspiration from Bruno Bettelheim’s book Uses of Enchantment, in which he analyzes fairy tales in terms of Freudian psychology.

“I got to go back in time,” said Seyfried at the movie’s Hollywood premiere on Monday. “I’ve always wanted to do that since I was little.”

Red Riding Hood Synopsis

Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) is a beautiful young woman torn between two men. She is in love with a brooding outsider Peter (Shiloh Fernandez), but her parents have arranged for her to marry the wealthy Henry (Max Irons). Unwilling to lose each other, Valerie and Peter are planning to run away together when they learn that Valerie’s older sister has been killed by the werewolf that prowls the dark forest surrounding their village. For years, the people have maintained an uneasy truce with the beast, offering the creature a monthly animal sacrifice. But under a blood red moon, the wolf has upped the stakes by taking a human life.

Hungry for revenge, the people call on famed werewolf hunter, Father Solomon (Gary Oldman), to help them kill the wolf. But Solomon’s arrival brings unintended consequences as he warns that the wolf, who takes human form by day, could be any one of them. As the death toll rises with each moon, Valerie begins to suspect that the werewolf could be someone she loves. Panic grips the town as Valerie discovers that she has a unique connection to the beast–one that inexorably draws them together, making her both suspect…and bait.

Rumors have been surrounding stars of the hit movie franchise “Twilight” namely Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson that these two are  having plans to make their romantic relationship official. This is not the first time that they have encountered this kind of rumors but  Some sources said that the couple is planning to wed this summer in a secret ceremony. American Actress Emma Stone is in talks to reprise the role of Mary Jane Watson the love interest of  Spiderman in Sony Pictures Entertainment upcoming reboot of Spiderman film franchise. Emma Stone will play opposite Andrew Garfield who will play Spiderman.

Emma Stone seems a good choice for the role, not only because her physical looks fits the role perfectly but she is a very talented actress.

Marc Webb’s reboot of the Spiderman Movie will follow the comics version more closely which will introduce the character of Gwen Stacey who is the first love of Peter Parker during his highschool days. Sony Pictures Entertainment has four candidate on who could play the role of Gwen Stacey these are Glee’s Dianna Agron, Alice in Wonderland’s Mia Wasikowska, Dominique McElligot, and Georgina Haig.  These four candidates are reportedly auditioning for the role of Gwen Stacy.

Emma Stone also starred in Zombieland and Easy A. Stone is currently shooting the adaptation of the Kathryn Stockett Bestseller The Help.

The scene is a confrontation between Edward and Jacob, who are both in love with Bella. Edward threatens Jacob to never touch Bella again. Jacob then fires back that she is not sure with what she wants. The whole time Bella is trying to cool them down. Charlie swan, Bella’s father, then comes out to break them apart and asks them what is going on. Jacob then confesses that he kissed Bella. In Eclipse, Bella agreed to marry Edward when he proposed to her, even though she has pretty jaded opinion towards marriage because of the early divorce of her parents. She is having trouble whether she wants to be a vampire or not, and is also confronted with choosing between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob. Edward, meanwhile, is trying to decide if she wants to turn Bella into a vampire after they get married. Jacob tells Bella to choose him over Edward because he is better off with him than the vampire heartthrob.

The last time we saw Kiefer Sutherland’s character Jack Bauer, he was about to become a fugitive. That status quo will stay that way until he goes on the Silver Screen. TV guide said that this movie would be a cross of Die Hard’s John McClane, and The Fugitive’s Dr. Richard Kimble.

A hero for the post-9/11 generation, Bauer has been waging war against terrorism, and political and governmental corruption in Los Angeles, Africa, Washington, DC, and New York.

24, the award winning show, culminated it’s 8 season run on FOX before Memorial Day. It’s been the longest running espionage series in TV history. Beating Mission: Impossible and The Avengers. Sutherland won a 2002 Golden Globe Award and a 2006 Emmy for Best Actor in his portrayal of Jacj Bauer.

If it’s action films you love, you’ll get plenty to choose from this Summer. One movie that caught my attention and is looking to pack plenty of punch for Summer 2010 is “The Expendables”. It’s got almost all of your favorite action heroes mixed together in one explosive movie coming out towards end of Summer on August 13, 2010. The plot centers around a team of hired guns who are sent to do a job in South America, then discover someone is a traitor amongst their ranks. What makes this one so intense is its jampacked cast which pays tribute to blockbuster action movies from the 1980′s and 1990′s.

Starring in this film is a 62-year-old Sylvester Stallone. He’s joined by one of my favorite action film stars, Jason Statham of “Transporter” fame, Mickey Rourke (“The Wrestler”, “Iron Man 2″) martial arts film star Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, as well as former WWE star “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and UFC star Randy Couture. For good measure the film includes cameos from Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Jamie Bell a British actor is rumored to become the next Spider Man in the reboot of the popular franchise.

Director Sam Raimi and leading man Tobey Maguire were all set to return for another go at Spider-Man, but the two quit last year.

The producers plan to focus on Peter Parker’s on his teenage years. Much like what happened with Batman and James Bond in their respective films.

Other actors we’re also linked to become Spider Man. The likes of Logan Lerman from Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief, and even Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame.

The 24-year-old Jamie Bell seems to be leading the pack, but other actors are also being considered. Alden Ehrenreich, Frank Dillane, Josh Hutcherson and Andrew Garfieldi are all in the running to be the next Spider Man.

Bell’s last movie was Defiance back in 2008. He has a busy year ahead of him, He already shot The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, he plays the boy reporter, with Steven Spielberg as Direictor.

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has inked a deal to join the cast of Scream 4.

The original creative team is on board for the film, which begins shooting next month in Michigan. Wes Craven will produce and direct, while Kevin Williamson is the screenwriter.

Julia Roberts’ niece Emma already signed on to join the team in the reboot of the horror franchise. Roberts and Panettiere will soon film Scream 4 alongside Rory Culkin and original cast members Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox.

The original Scream movie opened in late 1996 and launched a string of imitations.
