American Actress Emma Stone is in talks to reprise the role of Mary Jane Watson the love interest of  Spiderman in Sony Pictures Entertainment upcoming reboot of Spiderman film franchise. Emma Stone will play opposite Andrew Garfield who will play Spiderman.

Emma Stone seems a good choice for the role, not only because her physical looks fits the role perfectly but she is a very talented actress.

Marc Webb’s reboot of the Spiderman Movie will follow the comics version more closely which will introduce the character of Gwen Stacey who is the first love of Peter Parker during his highschool days. Sony Pictures Entertainment has four candidate on who could play the role of Gwen Stacey these are Glee’s Dianna Agron, Alice in Wonderland’s Mia Wasikowska, Dominique McElligot, and Georgina Haig.  These four candidates are reportedly auditioning for the role of Gwen Stacy.

Emma Stone also starred in Zombieland and Easy A. Stone is currently shooting the adaptation of the Kathryn Stockett Bestseller The Help.

Jamie Bell a British actor is rumored to become the next Spider Man in the reboot of the popular franchise.

Director Sam Raimi and leading man Tobey Maguire were all set to return for another go at Spider-Man, but the two quit last year.

The producers plan to focus on Peter Parker’s on his teenage years. Much like what happened with Batman and James Bond in their respective films.

Other actors we’re also linked to become Spider Man. The likes of Logan Lerman from Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief, and even Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame.

The 24-year-old Jamie Bell seems to be leading the pack, but other actors are also being considered. Alden Ehrenreich, Frank Dillane, Josh Hutcherson and Andrew Garfieldi are all in the running to be the next Spider Man.

Bell’s last movie was Defiance back in 2008. He has a busy year ahead of him, He already shot The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, he plays the boy reporter, with Steven Spielberg as Direictor.

The story is all about a 14-year old junior high school boy, Yoshimori Sumimura who is the chosen inheritor and a 22^nd Kekkaishi or the barrier master of the Sumimura clan. He undergoes certain trainings so that in the future he would be a great protector to the people and to his family.

Yoshimori had this holy marking when he was born and it is the Hoin seal. This predicts as the true savior and a guardian of the land from power hungry spirits. Kekkaishi uses their power to eradicate evil phantoms.

There have also been  talks that Raza, the terrorist leader  from Iron Man 1 who is played by Actor Faran Tahir would have a come back on the third installment of Iron Man 3 and take on the role of “The Mandarin” .

As of date Iron Man 3 is on development and is expected to be out on the big screens by 2012.

Marvel Studios has officially confirmed that Chris Evans will star as Captain America in the studio’s highly anticipated movie THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA directed by Joe Johnston from a script penned by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.

Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige will produce “The First Avenger: Captain America”.  Alan Fine, Stan Lee, David Maisel, Stratton Leopold and Louis D’Esposito will be executive producers.  The film will be released in the US on July 22, 2011 and distributed by Paramount Pictures.

The First Avenger: Captain America will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America.

Chris Evans will next star in Sylvain White’s THE LOSERS.  He will also star in Edgar Wright’s SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD.  He recently wrapped production on PUNCTURE and he will soon start production on WHATS YOUR NUMBER.  Evans previous credits include starring as Johnny Storm in the FANTASTIC FOUR Films, Danny Boyle’s SUNSHINE and David Ayer’s STREET KINGS.

In addition to THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA, Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including the highly anticipated sequel, IRON MAN 2, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow on May 7, 2010, THOR on May 6, 2011, and THE AVENGERS on May 4, 2012.
