Egg Recall Expanded as Sickened Reaches 1,300

The FBI has now called on an expanded call towards the Egg Recall that was rampant nationwide in each state of the USA. Both Food retailers and manufacturers are rushing and alarmed of losing a huge amount of economy with the impending safety of consumers towards the eggs that are part of the nationwide recall. There are around 380 million eggs that are suspected to have been infected with the salmonella bacteria. And this is indeed Alarming.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced this Thursday that there are still no clear evidence of contamination but due to heavy rainfall near, Galt Iowa company that produced eggs with Salmonella are believe to be due to infestations of rodents. THe Wright County Egg Company are also alleged to be hiring illegal immigrants and workplace violations.

Some of the recalled eggs are also linked with the 1,300 number of ill people in at least 10 states, these numbers are rising as we speak. Consumers may check the end of the their egg cartons that are with the following codes: batch numbers 1026, 1413 and 1946, with date codes ranging from 136 to 225 which are either holding 6, 12 or 18 eggs.

The CDC currently is working with the state health departments in investigating the cause of the illness, there has been no deaths reports yet so far and hopefully none.

Graco Crib Recall, Graco Crib Dangerous for Babies

GRACO CRIB RECALL — Graco Cribs have been recalled by federal safety officials. About 217,00 unites of Graco Cribs have been recalled because of a malfunction that can entrap, suffocate or strangle a baby inside it.

This flaw in the design can cause the drop side to detach from the crib, creating a gap where infants and toddlers might become wedged or entrapped thus the risk of suffocating or the strangling of its occupant.

People who bought the cribs are advised to stop using them immediately and contact the maker’s hotline at (888) 842-2215 to receive a free hardware retrofit kit.

The cribs were sold, starting in February 2007 at retailers throughout the country for $140 to $200 at stores such as Target, Walmart, and Babies R Us. Parents of children with the affected crib can obtain a repair kit in order to rectify the situation (details above).
