The City in Central Argentina that has started to uphold this new rule is the city legislature in Cordoba. The rule that bans the use of cell phone in banks was passed Wednesday night. The new rule applies to all people either employees, customers as long as they are inside the bank. The person responsible in making such a bill was Juan Brugge, he verbalizes that “the measure complements national legislation, particularly regulations by Argentina’s central bank”

The new rule that using of cell phones inside banks emerge due to incidents that robbers have used cell phones to communicate with lookouts outside the building. The use of cell phone cameras to help case a bank also is a concern. This bill isn’t really that new as early as 2006 Banks in Mexico City, Chicago and elsewhere were reported as having banned cell phones
