STEVE NASH EYE INJURY — Steve Nash took an inadvertent elbow from Spurs’ star Tim Duncan in the third quarter of Sunday’s game. Nash was forced to leave the game temporarily, he later returned to action and help the Suns in winning their game via 107-101 Sunday at the AT&T Center.
Nash’s injured eye has drawn comments from people who saw it live or who were watching the telecast of the game. Grant Hill even made a statement, “He looked like Ray ‘Boom Boom’ Mancini.” That’s was how bad Nash’s eye looked. At the end of the game, his injured eye was completely shut.
Three years ago, Nash also suffered an injury against the Spurs. He injured his nose when he collided with San Antonio’s Tony Parker. He seemed to have been out of his game after the incident. (see image above)
We don’t have the photo of Nash’s eye injury as of this writing but we will be putting it up later. The photo above is Nash’s nose injury three years ago.
